Got my 360 controller 3 days back. Initially installed the Force Feedback driver over the official drivers. To check out the vibration I decided to try it with the Lilypad plugin of PCSX2 and observed that while Xinput worked fine, the Directinput feedback resulted in only the left actuator working for both the small and big motor outputs. The slightly-smaller Xbox One controller feels just as well-made, and has an improved d-pad. Both have official drivers (Xbox 360 and Xbox One) and have required no troubleshooting. Most PC games.
